For Teacher Christina, it all began when she started a personal diary. Despite initial fumbles, she found herself more and more in love with writing and how she could express herself simply yet powerfully through words.
Having taught for six years in a Ministry of Education (MOE) primary school, she was involved in programmes centred on literacy and literature, including taking up the role of a School Dyslexia Remediation (SDR) Coach. She particularly enjoys teaching writing to her students as they often provide fresh perspectives drawn from their different experiences.
Dynamic and approachable, she believes that experimentation is key to creativity. She is a firm believer of Dweck’s growth mindset theory and that with the right guidance and mindset, each child can improve and excel.
